Jack and the beanstalk

Once upon a time there was a boy called Jack who lived with his mother in a cottage and the fact was they were very poor. Jack’s mother sent him to sell to the market their only cow. On his way he met a butcher and Jack sold him the cow for beans. On knowing it his mother got angry a lot. In a rage, she threw the beans out of the window. The next morning Jack’s room was absolutely dark. The beanstalk had been rising to the sky. Jack, curios as he was, climbed to the top and found out a strange land. There he met a woman and she said that land belonged to a giant. This giant had killed his father and stolen his father’s money. After this meeting Jack walked on and on. Suddenly, the night fell and Jack came to the castle. The giant’s wife unwillingly took him in, fed him and hid him in her cold oven.

The giant returned home. He sniffed around the Kitchen and immediately commented that he smelled the blood of an Englishman and if he was alive or he was dead he would grind his bones to make his bread. The giant, after eating a huge supper, called for his favourite hen, roaring that she must lay at least twelve eggs. Later the giant went to sleep and his snores shook the whole castle. Jack, taking advantage of the situation, he stole him his hen and quickly ran down the beanstalk and once back home he and his mother became rich. Again Jack back up the beanstalk but this time disguised. Jack was taken in again by the giant’s wife and hidden in the cupboard was when the giant returned sniffing for a huge supper. Then he counted his money and started snoring. Taking advantage of this situation, Jack stole the entire giant’s money and again back down the beanstalk with this money he could built his mother a new house.
