The novel I Really Enjoyed

The novel I love very much indeed is "Cider with Rossy" by Edna O'Brian. It is a novel dealing with folk festivals. The plot deals with with an irish young girl in loved with a ten years older than her. Rossy's parents were very worried about this fact becuase of the young boy engaged with her is a married man. On the folk festival day Rossy was looking at him while he was drinking some cider toguether with his friends  Rossy felt, as ever, deeply in  loved and said to her friends she was going to chat her aunty-mammy. Later on, her lover left his friends and went meet her. When he arrived Rossy was getting nervious because a couple of old women were looking and talking about them. The story finishes badly. Rossy's lover's wife kwnoes the whole story and goes to court. Rossy goes into a monastery nad becames a monk. A sor but in love and hardly ever drunk.
